Professional background

My background includes a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Post Grad Diploma in marketing. Following this I worked in Marketing and then moved into Management Consultancy focussing on asset optimisation in the Oil and Gas industry. In 2000 I moved from Scotland to the South East where I helped grow a dot.com (aerial photography company – that was lucky enough to have investment from the Queen). I left that to set up my own business in 2003, which I subsequently sold. Since then I have been running a company that provides maps, aerial photos, geographic data and GIS services. I am also developing a data company. I am keen to use my SME experience in helping others achieve their full potential ideally through investment and time.

My main strengths are in business reviews, problem solving, strategy, ROI, effective management of limited resources, running streamlined businesses and implementing I.T. solutions.
